Like the slack4 on the bottom of this page, the yoyo doesn't have to be smooth, but it's good if the yoyo doesn't come back easily when you pull the string.But you don't need to use a yoyo that is really difficult to bring it back up when you do the trapeze wind(wind that kouta watanabe did in the 2001World how to call real English?) like Black. Try to do it with your regular setting yoyo first and if your having a hard time doing it, then try to decrease the amount of oil you put on the yoyo.You don't need to worry about the smoothness for the slack tricks that you pinch. Yoyos for slack Jason Lee and Poo uses a FH. Jason Lee is good at doing a trapeze wind(?) it comes back good. but puchan's yoyo doesn't come back. Black of course uses a black nova. Patriot is a good yoyo also.But point is the yoyo that is smooth, doesn't come back, and a big gap. Gap adjustable is good!
